Beowulf - Good VS. Evil            In Beowulf, the conflict between   stiff and  malevolent is the poems main and   most important aspect. The poet makes it clear that   powerful and evil do not   exist as   tacit opposites, but that both qualities  ar present   in everyone. Beowulf represents the   business leader to do good, or to  do    transactions selflessly and in  dish up of others. Goodness is also showed   throughout this  heroic poem as having the  cleverness to cleanse evil. Even though evil   is presented by Grendel, Grendels mother, and the dragon, who are   filled with a desire to act against people and lastly destroy them.   Even pride, a  clement quality, is presented in Beowulf as a sign that evil   exists.

                Beowulf takes it upon himself to  communicate several  enormous deeds that he will perform to help countries in need. One of these deeds is his offer to  great power   Hrothgar, in which he proposes to slay Grendel. Beowulf states,   "Single-handed Ill settle the  combat!"
